Your is a well thought of and incisive comment on 21st century learning. True teachers have to reinvent themselves for the changed requirements. Now learners have access to so much of freely available content that the role of the teacher will be to guide them to choose the appropriate ones. Cost is a worrying factor but if you look back then you will remember how even internet connection was expensive. In every field the cost of new technology has reduced with time. I am sure it will happen for mobile devices as well as internet connection too.By the way I am also an online Physics teacher and trying to build up my reputation in this field.
